Fellowships Fully Funded United States Americas

Climate Tech Fellowship 2026 in USA (Fully Funded)

Offered by The New York Climate Exchange

Closes tomorrow

Fully funded fellowship from Climate Tech Foundation in United States. Check the deadline and eligibility on the official page before applying.

A fellowship offered by Climate Tech Foundation in United States.

The organiser describes this as fully funded. On this site that means tuition and accommodation are recorded as covered; flights are left as not stated until we have confirmed them, because they vary between programmes that use the same phrase. The organiser has not restricted this to one academic level.

Before you apply

Open the official page and confirm three things: that the deadline still stands, that you meet the eligibility criteria as they are written there, and what documents you will need. Applications fail more often on a missing document than on a weak candidate.

Every detail here is checked against the organisation's own page, and that page is the authority: deadlines move, eligibility is rewritten, and programmes are withdrawn without announcement. Confirm before you apply.

How to apply

Apply through the form linked from the fellowship page on nyclimateexchange.org. There is no application fee, and applications are read on a rolling basis — submitting early is worth something here in a way it usually is not.

This is a fellowship for a project, not for a person: you are expected to arrive with a prototype, a pilot or an early commercialisation effort in energy or urban resilience. No university affiliation is required, the company does not have to be incorporated, and you do not have to be in New York.

Between five and ten teams are taken. The programme is virtual apart from an in-person week around Climate Week NYC in September, and travel and accommodation are covered for one member of each team.

What you will need

  • Project description
  • Stage of development (prototype, pilot or early commercialisation)
  • Team details
  • Answers to the application questions

Eligibility notes

Open globally. No university affiliation, incorporation or US location is required.

Questions about the programme: mmehdiratta@nyclimateexchange.org (shown as the organisation published it — we do not handle applications).

Details can change without notice. Confirm everything on the organisation's own page before you apply — see our disclaimer. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.
