Submission Guidelines

Anyone can send us an opportunity — a programme officer, a university, or somebody who simply found one worth sharing.

What we list

Scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants, competitions, accelerators, exchanges, conferences, training and volunteer programmes. Anything with an application, a deadline and an organisation behind it.

We are particularly interested in opportunities that are open to African applicants, and in ones that are not already on every aggregator.

What we decline

Anything charging a substantial fee to apply. Anything that cannot be traced to a named organisation with its own page. Multi-level marketing and recruitment dressed as opportunity. Programmes whose deadline has already passed. Listings we cannot verify at all.

We also decline things that are simply advertisements — a paid course with no funding attached is a product, not an opportunity.

How to send one

Use the submission form. The link to the organisation's own page is the field that matters most: without it we cannot check anything, and we will not publish what we cannot check.

What happens next

You get an email confirming we have it. Somebody reads it and checks the details against the organisation's page. If we list it, it appears under the relevant category, usually within a few days.

We cannot reply individually to every submission, and we may edit wording for consistency. We may also decline without giving a reason — usually it means we could not verify something.
