ANSO Scholarship 2026 in China (500 Fully Funded Scholarships)
Offered by Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) / Chinese Academy of Sciences
Closed 15 Mar 2026
Fully funded scholarship from ANSO in China. Check the deadline and eligibility on the official page before applying.
A scholarship offered by ANSO in China.
The organiser describes this as fully funded. On this site that means tuition and accommodation are recorded as covered; flights are left as not stated until we have confirmed them, because they vary between programmes that use the same phrase. This is aimed at applicants at Master's level.
Before you apply
Open the official page and confirm three things: that the deadline still stands, that you meet the eligibility criteria as they are written there, and what documents you will need. Applications fail more often on a missing document than on a weak candidate.
Every detail here is checked against the organisation's own page, and that page is the authority: deadlines move, eligibility is rewritten, and programmes are withdrawn without announcement. Confirm before you apply.
How to apply
You do not apply to ANSO. You apply through the admission portal of either the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences or the University of Science and Technology of China, and select "ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents" as your funding option.
Secure a supervisor at a CAS institute before applying — the application is far weaker without one, and the referee deadline is the same as the applicant deadline.
What you will need
- UCAS or USTC online application
- Two recommendation letters
- Transcripts and degree certificates
- Study or research plan
- Language certificate
Eligibility notes
Open to international applicants for master's and PhD study at UCAS, USTC and CAS institutes across China. Around 100 to 200 master's and 300 PhD places a year.
Details can change without notice. Confirm everything on the organisation's own page before you apply — see our disclaimer. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.
